Quality inspection and testing
Quality

Quality Built Into Every Assembly

Our quality approach is not a final inspection step. It is embedded in every stage of the production process, from material receipt through to shipment.

At Axis, quality is a production discipline, not a department. We build quality into our processes through controlled procedures, documented work instructions, and systematic inspection, so that every assembly leaving our facility meets the requirements your application demands.

Material Control

All incoming materials, including wire, cable, connectors, and accessories, are verified against purchase specifications before entering production. We maintain traceability records linking materials to specific assemblies and lot numbers.

Process Documentation

Production is performed to documented work instructions that specify tooling, process parameters, and acceptance criteria. Instructions are reviewed and updated when processes change or improvements are identified.

In-Process Inspection

Inspection checkpoints are built into the production sequence, not deferred to the end. Critical operations, including crimping, soldering, and connector assembly, are verified before the next step proceeds.

Electrical Testing

Every assembly undergoes electrical testing appropriate to its application. Standard tests include continuity verification, insulation resistance measurement, and Hi-Pot testing where specified. Test results are recorded and retained.

Dimensional & Visual Inspection

Finished assemblies are inspected for dimensional conformance, workmanship, and visual acceptance criteria. Inspection is performed against customer drawings and applicable workmanship standards.

Traceability & Documentation

We maintain traceability from raw material to finished assembly. Shipments are accompanied by the documentation your program requires, including test reports, certificates of conformance, and inspection records as applicable.

Our Commitment

We do not ship assemblies that do not meet requirements. When a nonconformance is identified, we stop, investigate, and resolve it. We do not pass the problem downstream. Our goal is to be a supplier you can trust to deliver correctly, the first time and every time.
